Agriculture, a long-time pillar of the 60th Legislative District’s economy, has never been better!

I urge everyone to pay a visit to one of our region’s great fairs where the freshest of the fresh is available for purchase.  Stroll the midway, ride the rides, check out the livestock barns or enjoy the entertainment – there’s something for everyone at our local fairs.

If you’re trying to plan your visits, below is a listing of the fairs going on currently, or scheduled to begin very soon in the 60th District:

Indiana County Fair:  Aug. 29 to Sept. 4, at the Indiana County Fair Grounds, 803 Hospital Road, Indiana

OxHill Fair:  Sept. 6 – 11, in Plumville.

Green Township Fair:  Sept. 13 – 18, in Cookport.
(I’ll be temporarily relocating my Rayne Township office to the fairgrounds during this time.)
