WHAT: Together with Rep. Jeff Pyle (R-Armstrong/Butler/Indiana), the House Majority Policy Committee will host an educational hearing in Armstrong County to discuss the differences between conventional natural gas wells and unconventional shale gas wells in anticipation of the state’s new forthcoming Chapter 78 regulations. The hearing will also include a discussion on the pipeline construction needed to bring natural gas to power plants in order for the energy generation sector to meet new EPA air quality regulations and the obstacles currently blocking that endeavor.
HARRISBURG – The House on Tuesday voted to pass legislation authored by Rep. Jeff Pyle (R-Armstrong, Butler, Indiana) that would update state law regarding surveillance and trespassing to impose criminal penalties on invasions of privacy by remote control helicopters and aircraft (often referred to as “drones”) that are equipped with video cameras.

HARRISBURG - Effective Dec. 21, all new Commercial Drivers License (CDL) applicants and current holders required to renew or make any changes or upgrades to their CDL will need to appear at a PennDOT Driver License Center in person, Rep. Jeff Pyle (R-Armstrong/Butler/Indiana) said today.
HARRISBURG – State Rep. Jeff Pyle (R-Armstrong/Indiana/Butler) voted in favor of emergency funding legislation for schools and vital human services across the state. The legislation, Senate Bills 1000 and 1001, would provide four months of funding for government operations applied retroactively to the beginning of the fiscal year July 1 through Oct. 31.
