HARRISBURG – Rep. Jeff Pyle (R-Armstrong/Butler/ Indiana) and Sen. Don White (R-Armstrong/Butler/Indiana/Westmoreland) announced that several local school districts were each awarded a $25,000 state grant this week which will help them further develop their student safety policies to better protect its students.
HARRISBURG – Rep. Jeff Pyle’s (R-Armstrong/Butler/Indiana) legislation to prevent spying by drones, House Bill 1346 now Act 78 of 2018, was signed into law today by Gov. Tom Wolf. The primary intent of the bill is to protect public privacy by increasing the criminal penalties for using unmanned aircraft, often referred to as drones, to spy on or conduct surveillance of someone in a private place.
WHAT: Rep. Jeff Pyle (R-Armstrong/Butler/Indiana), along with Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-Armstrong/Clarion/Forest) and Sen. Don White (R-Armstrong/Butler/Indiana/Westmoreland), will be hosting their annual Armstrong County Senior Expo and encourage all senior residents to attend.

FORD CITY - Rep. Jeff Pyle (R-Armstrong/Butler/Indiana) joins other House members in his objection of Gov. Tom Wolf’s Basic Education Funding proposal. The governor has proposed that all education funds be distributed through the Fair Funding Formula. Pyle said this will not only hurt our school districts, but the students and community as well.

FORD CITY – Rep. Jeff Pyle (R-Armstrong/Butler/Indiana) today announced the emergency closure of his Ford City office on Tuesday, Oct. 25, and Wednesday, Oct. 26, for repairs needed due to leaking pipes.
WHAT: Together with Rep. Jeff Pyle (R-Armstrong/Butler/Indiana), the House Majority Policy Committee will host an educational hearing in Armstrong County to discuss the differences between conventional natural gas wells and unconventional shale gas wells in anticipation of the state’s new forthcoming Chapter 78 regulations. The hearing will also include a discussion on the pipeline construction needed to bring natural gas to power plants in order for the energy generation sector to meet new EPA air quality regulations and the obstacles currently blocking that endeavor.
