Recently, the House Liquor Control Committee visited the Charles Jacquin et. Cie Inc. facility. They are America’s oldest cordial producer, founded in 1884. Jacquin’s has been family owned and operated for the past three generations, from the corporate headquarters located in a historic building within the heart of Philadelphia, PA.

Recently, I had the opportunity to share my cancer journey with Bonny Diver, who hosts a podcast run by the Allegheny Health Network and iHeart Production called I Had Cancer. I discussed the various challenges I encountered as well as how immunotherapy helped pave the way to get me into remission. This interview was conducted 3 weeks before I found out I was in remission.

Honoring An Outstanding Pennsylvanian

On Tuesday, March19, I recognized a devoted individual from South Buffalo Township in Armstrong County on the House floor. This man's name is Allen McCrea. AL was laid to rest yesterday in Freeport, but let it be known that he gave everything he could to his community over the past 50 years and he will not be forgotten. I am honored to have AL's name entered into PA's permanent record. He truly was a great man.
